Program description - September 2026

The Bachelor of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (Honours) is a four-year degree program, including two co-op work terms, that combines the exciting fields of data science and artificial intelligence providing graduates with current, in-demand, and industry-aligned skills.

In our data-driven world, the ability to efficiently process and uncover patterns in the ever-expanding volume of data is a valuable skill. Drawing on applied math, smart computing, algorithms, logic, and programming, students will develop skills in mining, manipulating, interpreting, analyzing, and visualizing data.

You can apply these critical skills to various industries to leverage and develop rational systems that can anticipate and detect unknown patterns in data, solve complex problems, and support decision making.

Featuring a multidisciplinary curriculum founded on data science and artificial intelligence theory and application, this degree offers experiential learning activities designed to produce career-ready graduates.

Graduates will be well-prepared to pursue careers such as Data Mining Analyst, AI Architect/Designer, Business Analyst, Big Data Specialist, and Machine Learning Specialist in a variety of industries including but not limited to healthcare, information technology, logistics, research, or robotics.
