Program description - September 2026
Prepare yourself for an exciting career as a professional pilot. The current unprecedented demand and projected growth in the aviation industry offers numerous opportunities to excel post-graduation. Our two-year Commercial Flight Operations program allows you to enter the industry quickly with the necessary skills to be successful. The modern flight simulators will provide you with an opportunity for practical training through advanced avionics and realistic emergency scenarios in a variety of weather conditions. You will have the option to concurrently complete flight training which qualifies you to apply for Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence endorsed with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating. Students with a Private Pilot Licence can apply for credit transfers for the related groundschool courses. If you choose to work as a pilot post-graduation, you will need to complete flight training with our partner, Spectrum Airways, who will grant the Transport Canada licences upon completion and required examination. Contact Spectrum Airways at conestoga@spectrumairways.com.
Note:
- This is a highly competitive program. Apply by February 1 (for September). See oversubscribed programs for more information.
- International students and students living outside of Ontario are not eligible to apply.
