Program description

Completion of this eight-month Graduate Certificate program prepares you to become part of the Canadian financial services industry, one of the most dynamic and well-established sectors in Canada. Our courses will provide you with the skills and knowledge to work in either client facing or back-office roles with Canadian banks, insurers, wealth management and financial planning firms. Following graduation, you will be eligible to write the CFP exam, offered through FP Canada.

Note:

  • Students have the option to challenge the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Life Licensing Qualifying Program (LLQP) industry examinations, which provide credentials that are highly sought after by employers. There are additional fees associated with both industry examinations.

Financial assistance

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a needs-based program designed to help eligible Ontario students cover the cost of post-secondary education. Funded by the federal and provincial governments, OSAP is intended to promote equality of opportunity for post-secondary studies through direct financial assistance (grants and loans) for educational costs and living expenses. The amount of funding you are eligible for depends on your program, course load, educational and living expenses, and financial situation. Apply for assistance on the OSAP website and visit OSAP & aid for more information.
