Program description - September 2027
Drive your future forward with Conestoga's Motive Power Techniques - Truck and Coach Repair certificate.
If you're a high school graduate ready to enter the high-demand truck and coach repair industry, Conestoga's one-year Motive Power Techniques - Truck and Coach Repair certificate gives you the hands-on training and technical foundation to succeed. This Ontario college program includes Level 1 apprenticeship in-school training and prepares you for entry-level roles in heavy vehicle service and maintenance.
You'll train in over 17,000 square feet of fully equipped shop space, learning from experienced professionals as you explore key topics such as safety, tool use, preventative maintenance, engines, transmissions, drive trains, and electrical and electronic systems. Graduates may be eligible for an exemption from Level 1 in-school apprenticeship training or advanced standing into Year 2 of the Motive Power Technician - Truck and Coach diploma program.

- This is a highly competitive program. Apply no later than February 1 (for fall intakes), July 15 (for winter intakes), and November 1 (for spring intakes). Please check drop down box for program start dates, not all programs have a start date in every semester
