Ready to build a future in plumbing? Do you want to gain hands-on experience, learn from licensed professionals, and develop the skills needed to secure an apprenticeship and thrive in a high-demand trade? Conestoga's two-year Plumbing Technician diploma program is the perfect place to start.
In this program, you'll learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of the plumbing trade, including the use of tools and materials, welding, and rigging. You'll be taught by licensed tradespeople who are passionate about their craft and eager to support your learning. You'll also explore how environmentally sustainable practices and modern technology are shaping the future of plumbing and resource management.
As a graduate, you may be exempt from level(s) of the 306A plumber trade school. You'll also gain the knowledge required for the Gas Technician (G3) license, which is needed to hook up boilers, water heaters, and other gas-fired appliances. You may qualify to write the TSSA G3 exam.
Training takes place in Conestoga's Skilled Trades Centre, a state-of-the-art campus featuring a large, fully equipped plumbing shop designed to simulate real-world job sites. This campus also offers all the services and supports you need to have a great college experience.
With the construction sector booming, skilled tradespeople are in high demand. Plumbers play a critical role in ensuring safe water and waste management systems, and your work will make a real difference in communities. Join us at Conestoga and take the first step toward a well-paying, stable and rewarding career in the skilled trades.
