Program description - May 2027
Balance the books and your future with Conestoga's Bookkeeping certificate.
Whether you're a high school graduate or making a career change, Conestoga's one‑year Bookkeeping certificate provides the essential skills and industry connections to get you started. This intensive program builds a strong foundation in accounting, personal income tax and payroll, while also developing the communication and teamwork skills required in today's business environment.
You'll train with industry‑standard software and emerging technologies, guided by experienced faculty who bring real‑world expertise to the classroom. As a student, you'll be aligned with the Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (CPB Canada), giving you a direct pathway to the nationally recognized CPB designation and a competitive advantage in the job market.
Graduates can continue their studies with advanced standing in the Payroll and Bookkeeping diploma or the Business Administration - Accounting advanced diploma.
