If you're a high school graduate interested in banking, financial technology or global markets, Conestoga's one‑year Business Fundamentals - Banking and Financial Services certificate provides a strong introduction to the financial system and its role in economic inclusion. This program prepares you to understand and deliver financial services in one of the world's largest and most dynamic markets.
You'll study financial institutions, instruments and markets while exploring topics such as financial inclusion, client relationship management and digital innovation. With a focus on communication across diverse audiences, you'll gain the skills needed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), manage risk, and market financial services effectively. This program is ideal for students looking to launch a career or pursue further education in finance, banking or business.
Graduates can continue their studies in the Business - Finance or Business - Insurance programs to further expand career opportunities.
