Power a sustainable future with Conestoga's Renewable Energy Techniques program.

Are you passionate about clean energy and want to be part of the green revolution? Conestoga's Renewable Energy Techniques one-year certificate program is designed for high school graduates who want to launch a career in the fast-growing field of renewable energy and sustainable technologies. This hands-on program gives you the skills to design, install, and maintain solar, wind and other alternative energy systems.

The program is centered around four key themes: renewable power generation, energy storage and management, sustainable building practices, and electrical systems and safety. You'll gain practical experience using industry-standard tools and cutting-edge technologies, from solar panels to battery storage and energy modeling. Graduates are prepared to support the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.

What you'll learn

Installation and maintenance of solar (PV and thermal), wind, hydro and biofuel systems
Battery storage technologies, including lead-acid and lithium-ion systems
Energy modelling, grid integration and system optimization
Green building practices, LEED standards and sustainable construction
Electrical safety, diagnostics and system grounding fundamentals
