Conestoga's off-campus housing

This location is ideal for students attending the Waterloo and Kitchener - Downtown (DTK) campuses. This property is close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and Conestoga Mall.

Please note: students can apply for housing prior to being accepted into a program but must be a full-time registered Conestoga students at time of move in.

First-year student housing guarantee (Waterloo, Brantford and Milton only)

Apply for student housing in Waterloo, Brantford or Milton before May 1, 2025, and make your first payment by June 6, 2025, to secure your place in our Waterloo, Brantford or Milton student housing for the upcoming academic year (September 2025).

Application process:

  • Accept your offer of admission from Conestoga College.
  • Create a profile in the student housing portal for Waterloo, Brantford or Milton and submit your student housing application by 11:59 p.m. EDT May 1, 2025.
  • If all application requirements have been completed, you will be notified by email and provided with an invoice. Note that processing your application can take up to five business days.
  • Complete the remaining portion of your housing application and make your first payment by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 6, 2025, to secure your accommodation.

All applicants will be assigned a room at their selected community. Waterloo applicants will be provided a room at one of the Waterloo student housing properties. Brantford applicants will be provided a room at the Brantford student housing property. Milton applicants will be provided a room at the Milton student housing property.

Accommodation preferences

All rooms will be assigned first come, first serve, and based on room type and rate. We cannot guarantee the room type, specific property, and proximity to campus.

Rates for Waterloo - 60 University Ave.

Rates include hydro, water, heat, high-speed internet access, and a furnished room in a three or five-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms.

Your Conestoga College tuition is separate from your housing fees. Please do not instruct your bank to pay Conestoga College. Payment options and due dates can be found on your housing invoice.

Please note: Unlike the college, student housing payments cannot be deferred for OSAP.

Fall term start: September 1, 2025 - August 24, 2026

Acceptances for the fall term start are typically sent out in mid-May.

Transportation

Waterloo campus

This location is a short walk, approximately 4 minutes (under 350m) to the Waterloo campus.

Kitchener - Downtown campus

The location is 4.5km from the Kitchener - Downtown campus. By public transit (GRT) - Route 8 is a 20-minute bus ride from University/Weber to Frederick/Weber.

Parking

You must purchase a parking permit to park while staying in Conestoga housing. This permit can also be used at any campus except the Waterloo campus.

Guests are required to purchase daily parking through HonkMobile Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is free after 4 p.m. and on weekends.

Walksafe

Walksafe is a service provided by Safety and Security to escort staff, students, and visitors while on campus or at Conestoga housing. This service is available at all campuses upon request, except Milton and Stratford.
