The Employability & Leadership Training for Newcomers course is funded by IRCC. It provides one-to-one support, information, resources, tools, and integrated skill-building activities to newcomers looking to gain in-demand employment skills and build confidence and workplace communication skills.
This is an online/remote course with evening delivery twice per week for six weeks. The course focuses on:
- sharpening digital and keyboarding skills.
- exploring viable labour market options, understanding how to assess the market for sustainable opportunities and growing your network.
- gaining core employment leadership, presentation, and conflict resolution strategies.
- participating in comprehensive and interactive classes with integrated skill-building activities.
